To ensure 100% compatibility, please verify your console meets these standards:
 

  • Hardware: You must have a hardware-modded RGH or JTAG console. (While compatible with "Bad Avatar" softmod USB, we strongly recommend a hardware mod for full performance).
  • Latest Dashboard: Your console must be on the latest official dashboard version: 2.0.17559.0.
  • Stealth Servers: We pre-load the files and configurations for your chosen stealth server (XBGuard, Teapot, etc.). However, no license or server time is included. You must purchase your subscription directly from the provider. We set up the files; you provide the access.

No. This hard drive is specifically engineered for consoles with RGH or JTAG hardware modifications. A standard retail Xbox 360 will not be able to read the custom dashboards, modded game files, or plugins. If you are looking for a mod for your retail console, check out our modded consoles or even Bad Avatar USB instead.

Installation is 100% plug-and-play:

For Slim/E Models: Open the side/bottom flap of your console, slide the drive into the internal bay until it clicks, and restart.

For Phat Models: Simply clip the grey/black hard drive enclosure onto the top (or side, if standing) of the console and turn it on. Once installed, the console will automatically detect our pre-configured paths and boot straight into the Aurora Dashboard.

Do NOT format the drive. If your console asks to format, it means you are likely in the "Retail" dashboard and not the modded one. If you format the drive, you will permanently delete the entire modded library and configuration. Ensure your console is glitched/modded correctly before inserting the drive.

Absolutely. While the drive arrives "fully stacked" with our best modded titles, there is usually room for more. You can transfer your own ISOs or XEX files via a USB stick or by using an FTP client (like FileZilla) over your home network.
